As part of our "Share the Planet" unit, students learned how the actions of individuals can create opportunities. Students learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream for the world, and then wrote about their own dream for the world.
Students then created these portraits of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. using only construction paper, glue, and scissors. All shapes used to create the portraits were cut freehand.
The students' art work and dreams for the world are amazing and inspiring. They are now hanging outside of our classroom, please come by and enjoy their work!
